About your opportunity:
In this position you will provide advanced clinical leadership and clinical expertise relevant to the specialty of Rheumatology working in collaboration with the Rheumatologist to support the clinical unit in provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for the specialty of Rheumatology.
About your role:
- Demonstrate expert and comprehensive knowledge of contemporary nursing practice.
- Manage conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Psoriatic Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis in an ambulatory setting.
- Educate patients undertaking treatments.
- Provide senior nursing leadership and direction in the investigation and management of adverse clinical outcomes or professional practice matters and in the effective resolution of complex consumer feedback.
