Where you'll be working
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of this position is to provide psychological assessment and interventions for Integrated and Community Health patients. The Clinical Psychologist will also provide services to family members and carers of suchpatients where required, including bereavement services through a range of interventions including individual and joint consultations, case conferences, group sessions, provision of counselling facilitating practical assistance and referral tocommunity agencies.
Team responsibilities include case discussion, appropriate referral on, and a close effective working relationship with the Integrated and Community Health Chronic and Complex multidisciplinary team.

Essential Requirement:

  1. Qualification: Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate clinical psychology masters or doctorate
  2. Registration: Current general registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
