About the Role
  • The role of CNE at Boggabri will require someone who can provide and evaluate clinical education to RNs, EENs, Ens, undergraduate students and School Based Trainees.
  • It is a diverse role which requires cooperation and consultation in a collegial manner with Nursing Management.
  • The Clinical Nurse Educators will work acutely on the wards to support the education needs of staff, mentor new staff and new graduate nurses.

Where you'll be working
  • The Boggabri MPS is located in northwest NSW, 1.5 hours drive from Tamworth. Boggabri is a small town of approximately 1000 people.
  • The MPS has 16 Residential Aged Care Facility beds, 4 acute care beds and 2 emergency department beds.
  • We are collocated with the local Dr Surgery and Ambulance Station.
  • We are a team of RNs EENs ENs and AINs. RNs are required to work across all clinical fields - Aged Care, Emergency department and Acute Care Ward.
  • Good Communications skills are essential.
  • All staff are required to work within the HNELHD policies and guidelines. We work within the structure of the Code of Conduct: Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment
