Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding career in community health? An exciting opportunity exists for an Occupational Therapist to join the highly supportive and experienced Community Occupational Therapy service at Southcare, located in the beautiful Sutherland Shire.
- Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and current registration with AHPRA.
- Current Class C NSW drivers licence or equivalent
- Relevant and recent post graduate experience working in a community setting with the adult aged and disabled population
- Demonstrated experience in prescription of equipment and home modifications.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability in time management skills and in managing a busy caseload
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence based practice and a commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning
