About us:

The Sub Acute Chronic Care Rehabilitation team provides interdisciplinary rehabilitative care to clients with a range of complex chronic diseases and operates out of Rockhampton. These services also work to address unplanned medical admissions and support early discharge by enhancing the quality and availability of community based proactive collaborative care.

About the role:

The Clinical Nurse provides nursing services within health service settings and demonstrates competence in the provision of nursing care as specified by registration requirements, NMBA standards and codes, educational preparation, relevant legislation, and context of care.

About you:

Mandatory qualification/s: Registration as a Registered Nurse under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009 with a current annual practicing certificate from the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia is essential. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate Supervisor/Manager prior to the commencement of clinical duties.

  • This position requires the development of specialised nursing knowledge and skills in cardiac rehabilitation/secondary prevention, diabetes education, or respiratory rehabilitation.

Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, it is well regarded to have effective computer skills and the ability to acquire significant skills and knowledge relevant to your role in a short timeframe. It is well regarded that this position is toparticipate in activities related to service promotion.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $65,949 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
