  1. Tertiary qualifications in health or related field
  2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in health promotion planning, implementation, evaluation and dissemination particularly relating to healthy eating and active living in the older population.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and experience of current health promotion theory and evidence-based practice.
  4. Understanding of issues that may impact service delivery in priority populations including social disadvantage, Aboriginal and CALD communities.
  5. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain partnerships with other staff and government, non-government and community organisations.
  6. Effective organisational, problem solving and team skills including the ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  7. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills, including skills in use of common computer packages preferably Microsoft Office, MS Outlook, social media and some desktop publishing skills.
  8. Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
