Dandenong Hospital is in the growth corridor of the South East of Melbourne. Our midwives are an integral part of achieving patient centred care, placing 2,500 women firmly at the centre of our service across our 25 bed Maternity ward and 11 bed Birth Unit.
Continuity of care within our three maternity teams at Dandenong Hospital will enable women greater continuity in care throughout pregnancy, birth and their postnatal stay.
Our midwives work across all areas, believe in the power of collaboration and are willing to use their skills to provide excellence in midwifery care, cultivating their own passion for midwifery and inspiring others along the way.

You are an enthusiastic Midwife who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is willing to commit to team work and ongoing professional development that align with the Monash health Women’s new Service Direction. You demonstrate the ability to lead by example and provide coaching and support to midwives, students and junior medical staff. You show passion for leading a team with skills in growing others, and show commitment to being an advocate for birthing women.
