Dubbo Regional Aboriginal Health Service (DRAHS) is seeking to employ 3, full time, experienced GPs to join our team.
At DRAHS we care for the whole community from pregnancy and early childhood, men's and women's health, preventative care and health promotion, complex chronic disease management, geriatrics and palliative care. With the support of our nursing staff, Aboriginal Health Workers, friendly receptionists and onsite management team we pride ourselves in providing high quality medical care for our patients. We are also supported by a visiting dietician, podiatrist, pharmacist, optometrist, audiologist and diabetic educator. The clinic has access to regular telehealth clinics with an endocrinologist, psychiatrist and rehabilitation physician.
DRAHS is a bulk billing clinic, operating between 8:30am and 5pm week days with no weekend shifts. On average GPs are expected to see between 15-20 patients per day.
Successful applicants will be offered a generous salary of $250,000 PA inclusive of superannuation with the opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses based on a percentage of their Medicare billings. You will also have access to generous salary packaging options. Accommodation will be available to assist with relocating to the region.
Successful applicants will be expected to hold the following qualifications and demonstrate the following qualities and skills:
- Must hold vocational registration
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current registration with RACGP or ACRRM or equivalent.
- Experience working in General Practice, experience providing care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people (desirable).
- Must hold appropriate Medical Indemnity Insurance.
- Knowledge of Best Practice software and My Health Record (desirable, training can be arranged)
- Class C Driver’s License
- Proof of vaccination must be provided upon acceptance of appointment
Successful applicants will be required to provide a National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months) and a Working with Children Check prior to appointment.
