Specialist Dentist

Diagnose and treatment planning of complex malocclusions including cleft lip/palate patients and craniofacial anomaly patients utilizing the highest level of orthodontic knowledge and application. Provide comprehensive specialist orthodontic management and treatment to cleft lip/palate, craniofacial anomaly patients, and eligible patients of the Children’s Oral Health Service at a high level of orthodontic care.

About the Role

  • Diagnose and develop treatment plans for complex malocclusions and the co-ordination of multi-disciplinary case management to ensure that treatment is of the highest standard.
  • Provide specialist orthodontic treatment to cleft lip/palate cases, craniofacial anomaly cases, and eligible standard orthodontic cases at a high level of care for severely complex patients.
  • Provide specialist orthodontic opinions and advice on cases referred to the Children's Oral Health Service.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in orthodontic diagnostic and treatment planning clinic at the Children's Oral Health Service.
