Occupational Therapist

• Work as an effective member of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team in the assessment, planning and delivery of Occupational Therapy (OT) services for clients and their carers referred to the Community Rehabilitation Unit (CRU) in Southern Tasmania. • Ensure best practice standards for OT services provided by the CRU, in accordance with organisational policies and the professional codes of conduct.

The Role and the Team:

At the Community Rehab Unit in Hobart you will have the opportunity to work within an interdisciplinary team model of care, delivering outpatient rehabilitation services to the community of Southern Tasmania.

Being the only public health outpatient service ensures working with a diverse range of clients and the chance to build excellent clinical skills in a supportive learning environment.

Salary

$ 64,072 to $ 98,027 pro-rata, per annum

Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2019

Period of Employment

Permanent, part-time, day work, working 68.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
