About the role

The Clinical Director works in partnership with the relevant Division Operational Director and Nurse Unit Manager(s), for the efficient and effective management of the relevant inpatient clinical unit ensuring clinical leadership, risk minimisation and the continual monitoring and quality improvement of patient care. This position amongst others is responsible for promoting GV Health as a quality regional health service provider ensuring GV Health’s mission and values are upheld.


We are looking for

  • Commitment to leading consistent with GV Health’s behaviours and values of Compassion, Respect, Excellence, Accountability, Teamwork and Ethical Behaviour.
  • Understanding of Clinical Risk Management and Quality Assurance and Improvement concepts
  • Must be competent in a wide range of procedures relevant to the area of speciality
  • Experienced educator and teacher of medical students, trainees and medical staff
  • Current registration with Medical Board of Australia and current Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons
