Overview

Working on a casual basis, your primary role as Registered Nurse will be to provide evidence based person centred nursing and/or midwifery services in Port Lincoln Hospital.

Duties include assessing individual patient/client needs, planning, implementing and/or coordinating appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options including other disciplines or agencies, provide health promotion and education to patients/clients or groups and carers to improve the health outcomes of individuals, contribute to procedures for effectively dealing with people exhibiting challenging behaviours and use foundation theoretical knowledge and evidenced based guidelines to achieve positive patient/client care outcomes.
