Overview
A brilliant opportunity not to be missed, you will be joining a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team based in Kingston South East as an Enrolled Nurse. You will be responsible for providing support to the Registered Nurse/Midwife in the provision of person-centred care consistent with regulatory and statutory requirements. Practice at this level is from novice to proficient Enrolled Nurse practice. Enjoying a range of unique and varied professional experiences that only rural health can offer, you will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver evidence based care. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, you will make decisions and take initiative to plan and complete nursing care tasks within your scope of practice. You will provide education to patients, families and carers, in addition to contributing to high level customer service through excellent communication and interpersonal skills. There’s easy travel distance to major regional facilities, and all the benefits of a relaxed, rural lifestyle in a friendly rural town as part of this key role.
Enrolled as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate. With demonstrated experience in the provision of nursing care in the healthcare setting in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice, you will have working knowledge and understanding the role of the Enrolled Nurse within the health care setting, able to provide person-centred care. A collaborative team player able to interact with people from every walk of life, you will bring a sound appreciation of the need for good communication, discretion and confidentiality. Also required is the ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritise workload, recognise and report changes in clinical condition.
