Our Diabetes Services have a holistic, culturally appropriate and patient centric care approach, where our patients are empowered to manage their healthcare journey.

This is a fixed term part-time position (0.2 FTE to 0.6 FTE), based at Greenlane Clinical Centre.The role encompasses clinical leadership duties, Patient communication and advocacy, direct clinical care, teaching, service improvement and research functions.

As an ideal candidate, you will be an experienced Diabetes Specialist with significant experience and knowledge in Diabetes Management. Your key focus is to lead the way in diabetes management to provide holistic, equitable and culturally appropriate patient-centred care, empowering patients to manage their healthcare journey.

The successful applicant will be required to work with consultant colleagues within an outpatient-based environment at the Greenlane Clinical Centre with experience across both hospital and a community setting is desirable. Your ability to interact positively with service members and demonstrate a strong commitment to the team will ensure that we are all able to support each other and share clinical knowledge.

It is essential that you have the right to work in NZ and are already registered with the NZ Medical Council with a current annual practicing certificate.
