Te Toka Tumai, Auckland is one of the largest public healthcare providers in New Zealand with four specialist teaching hospitals: Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre, National Women's Health and Starship Children's Health.

An excellent opportunity exists at Te Toka Tumai Auckland within the Gastroenterology department. Demand for Gastroenterology outpatient and endoscopy services is consistently high and therefore we are looking for enthusiastic dynamic doctor to join us. We are seeking aFellowto join theDepartment of Gastroenterology to provide clinical duties to the Gastroenterology service at Auckland City Hospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre. To develop experience in diagnosis and management of adults with gastrointestinal and general liver conditions with service provision for general endoscopy and clinics.

Fellows participate in clinical audit programmes and contribute to the knowledge of medical, nursing and support staff. The Fellow works on the specialist roster under supervision and there are opportunities for academic study and/or clinical research.

The successful candidate should have:

Essential Skills

·Medical practitionerfully registered with the New Zealand Medical Council.

·Postgraduate training in Gastroenterology Part 1 exam for FRACP or equivalent experience and qualifications recognised by NZ Medical Council.

·Minimum of 2 -3 years’ experience in Gastroenterology and endoscopy
