  • Individualised plans are constructed to meet the unique needs of the client.
  • Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, based at Greenlane Clinical Centre.
  • Role is working with adults with acute and complex eating disorders

We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, proactive Consultant Psychiatrist, with experience in Eating Disorder Services.

Te whiwhinga mahi| The Opportunity

We invite you to join the Tupu Ora - Regional Eating Disorder Services, a regional specialist service providing assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders.

Tupu Ora also provides consultation to and liaison with community mental health services and hospitals in the Metro Auckland region. Tupu Ora provides specialist community-based assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and adults presenting with severe eating disorders, along with an intensive group programme. There are strong linkages with the Tupu Ora residential treatment service.

Our team is made up of experienced mental health professionals including Specialist Psychiatrists, General practitioners, Dieticians, Psychologists, Social Workers, Psychotherapists, Mental Health nurses and Occupational Therapists.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

To be successful in this role you will be vocationally registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand with a current Practising Certificate or be eligible for registration. You will also hold a full and clean driver’s license as this role involves some community work.
