Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service have opportunities for Resident Medical Officers at the level of Junior and Senior House Officer (rotational) within the Health Service.

The Resident Medical Officer will provide comprehensive day to day medical services to all patients presenting to the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.

The SCHHS provides healthcare to a rapidly growing population. There has been significant investment in services over the past few years, in particular the establishment of the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and the Nambour General Hospital redevelopment. The SCHHS also delivers services through hospitals in Gympie, Caloundra and Maleny. In addition, the SCHHS operates a residential aged care facility in Nambour and provides community health services and community mental health services through a range of stand-alone facilities located across the Sunshine Coast region.

Key Responsibilities include:

•    Assist in the planning of clinical care
•    Select and arrange appropriate investigations
•    Provide patient care in accordance with the ethics and standards of the medical profession

Salary rates: $3,634.20 - $3,913 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (17.5%) (L2 - L3) (temporary full-time position, 76 hrs p.f.) until January 2025.
