As an Assistant in Nursing, you'll provide direct care to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Duties include assisting with patient care interventions and maintaining accurate health care documentation.


The Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) model exists in smaller communities and integrates a range of health services, including acute care, respite and palliative care, emergency, allied health, primary health and community health, under one management structure. Also known as the Rainbow Region, this area is blessed with stunning forests and waterfalls, fertile farming land, artistic villages and relaxed seaside communities. For a different type of scene, you can drive tothe Gold Coast in less than 2 hours, or Brisbane in under 3 hours.

If you have:

  • CHC30208 Certificate III in Aged Care or CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support, or equivalent qualification;ORequivalent experience;ORcompletion of one (1) or more years of training as an undergraduate nursing student
  • Good knowledge of basic nursing care, including physiologic observations and assistance with activities of daily living
  • Effective communication skills, computer skills and the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team
  • Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/seven day rotating roster
