Te whiwhinga mahi| The Opportunity

We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic and experienced nurse to join our team as a Nurse Specialist. The Paediatric Intensive Care (PICU) Nurse Specialist for Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) is responsible for the case management of patients who require ECMO therapy, continued support and follow up of this cohort after ECMO therapy, maintaining high quality standards of nursing care for patients and families of patients on ECMO and providing data and contributing to strategies to develop the ECMO service.

To be successful you will:

  • Have NZ Nursing Registration with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
  • Have Postgraduate certificate/diploma in specialty nursing practice
  • Have Project management experience
  • Have minimum level 3practice
  • Demonstrate knowledge of nursing professional development issues
  • Have a post grad diploma in nursing or health related area (Desired)
