Clinical Nurse Consultant/Specialist

Are you a caring person prepared to provide a high standard of clinical and patient centred care? Are you a safe, competent, accountable & independent practitioner able to support the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS) by providing a quality and cost effective nursing service? If so, we want you to submit your Expression of Interest (EOI) to the Casual Registered Nurse Talent Pool. This talent pool is used to source experienced Registered Nurses for casual employment across the Wide Bay. Following submission of your EOI, the WBHHS may contact you directly to discuss appropriate opportunities that match your skills and experience.

Express your interest in the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service Casual Registered Nurse Talent Pool (WBHHS). This EOI process collects a variety of information that will help the Hospital and Health Service (HHS) identify potentially suitable applicants for casual employment opportunities. The successful applicant will preferably have recent hospital based experience or hold suitable qualifications relative to this role.

If deemed suitable, your details will remain in the Registered Nurse talent pool for 12 months and you will be contacted further by the WBHHS at the time an opportunity arises matching your skills and location preferences. The WBHHS may request your participation in other recruitment selection processes (eg. written application, interview etc.) to further determine suitability for employment for specific positions.

Submission of this EOI application is not a guarantee that you will be offered employment with Queensland Health. The EOI process is just one avenue of seeking employment with the WBHHS. You also have the option to apply for advertised vacancies within Queensland Health via the job search website; or contact WBHHS directly to enquire about employment opportunities. Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).

From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB).  For further information regarding TB please visit Queensland Health website: Tuberculosis
