What's on offer?
Permanent Full-time or Part-time, hours negotiable.

Pro rata remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value of up to $522,648 p.a. comprising salary range of $204,206 - $258,910 p.a. (full-time) or $97.84 - $124.05 p.h. (part-time) (L18-L27), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%). attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary), regional and rural attraction allowance (5% base salary), motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,000 p.a., professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave, private practice arrangements, communications package, professional indemnity cover and inaccessibility allowance (if applicable).

About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide specialist Radiology services across a broad range of imaging modalities within a tertiary level Medical Imaging service. The incumbent is responsible for appropriate clinical supervision and direction of medical staff, (including Specialist trainee Registrars) within the unit.

Role requirements

  • Medical degree registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a specialist in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR).
  • Evidence of participation in a continuing professional development (CPD) education programme.
  • Radiation Safety License.

Candidates who will be obtaining fellowship in the near future are encouraged to apply. Appointment will be at a lower classification level until minimum requirements for the Staff Specialist classification are obtained.
