An Metropolitan TAS hospital requires a Specialist in General Practice from 11/03/2024 to 07/06/2024

The work of a Specialist Medical Practitoner - GP will be part of an extended team of 4 doctors and up to 40
nurses and you will encounter a range of mental health, drug, and alcohol presentations. You will work
within a multidisciplinary health team to provide direct clinical services to patients within the correctional
health setting. The SMP - GP requirements include Primary Health GP duties and undertaking the
prescribing of medications including S8s (opioid medication).
