A Western NSW hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice from 08/07/2024 to 14/07/2024.

SHIFTS:

Mon, 8 Jul 2024 to Sun, 14 Jul 2024
Hours: 07:30 - 17:30

The ward is a 17 bed unit which can surge to 24. The doctor is to be in the building every day from 7:30am consulting with each patient on a ward round with the GP registrar or JMO. When ward rounds are completed, other duties like checking pathology results or assisting in ED if required are undertaken.
Doctor needs to be experienced at managing inpatients and senior enough for supervision of more junior doctors.
