Te Pūriri o Te Ora - Auckland’s Regional Cancer and Blood Service based at Auckland City Hospital is the leading provider of cancer care in the Auckland region, serving a large and varied population of around 2 million people. Our unit delivers research spanning correlative, quality of life and phase I-IV clinical trials, across the disciplines of haematology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology. Our unit has over 120 clinical trials underway, 50 staff and an annual income of nearly 10 million. Our research team also works closely with the University of Auckland and other academic centres as well as with industry partners to enable research for people with cancer.

As ourResearch Operations Manager, you will thrive on challenges and play a pivotal role in establishing programs and pathways to expand clinical research for cancer patients and their families. Not only will you spearhead innovation in cancer research, but you will also lead a team united in the fight against cancer, ensuring every effort contributes to meaningful progress.

Your role as the Research Operations Manager at Te Toka Tumai involves providing leadership and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Start-up and Quality team embedded in the Cancer and Blood Research Team. With a focus on a staff and fiscal management, you will also nurture strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
