Additional information:
- Specialist clinical skills and experience relating to the assessment and identification of the health needs of children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NSW Health specialist Violence, Abuse and Neglect (VAN) services including their management, roles and responsibilities, types of service delivery and related child protection policies.
- Demonstrated advanced reasoning skills, as well as advanced written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage a diverse range of tasks, work under pressure and work within an interagency context.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in undertaking consultation and/or projects with a variety of stakeholders with good written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as social work, psychology, social sciences, counselling or other qualification deemed relevant to this position.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
