We have an exciting opportunity forNew Zealand Registered Physiotherapiststo join ourCore 1 or Core 2 Rotational programme.We havepermanent,full-timepositions that will enable you to gain a breadth of physiotherapy experience, spending 6 or 9 months in a variety of hospital and community services across our sites. You will be well supported by a team of experienced Physiotherapists and other Allied Health professionals.

Our rotational areas are as follows:

Core 1 - 6 months

Core 2 - 9 months

· General Medical

· Ward 51/Integrated Stroke Unit

· Pelvic Health - Inpatients

· General Surgery

· Orthopaedics

· Musculoskeletal Outpatients

· Cardio-respiratory Outpatients

· Older Persons Health

· Respiratory

· Critical care

· In-patient Falls Prevention Team

· General Medical

· Ward 51/Integrated Stroke Unit

· Pelvic Health - Outpatients

· General Surgery

· Orthopaedics

· Community Rehabilitation Team (CoRe)

· Neurosurgery

· Older Persons Health

· Paediatrics

· Critical care

· Intermediate Care Team

· Cardio-thoracic inpatients and Cardio-resp Outpatients

As the ideal person for this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • New Zealand registration as a Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Clean, full New Zealand drivers’ licence
  • Excellent clinical reasoning skills and use of evidence-based practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary bicultural environment
  • Effective time management, prioritisation and organisation skills
  • A flexible, pro-active approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The remuneration for this position is covered by a collective agreement(PSA Allied, Public Health Scientific Technical MECA)

Salary Range: Step 1 $70842 to Step 7 $100466
