  • Classification: Registered Nurse Year 1-8.
  • Remuneration: $35.32 - $49.60 per hour + superannuation + applicable loadings

About the role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate care in a patient-focused environment. The Registered Nurse (Casual Pool) is required to work across the Calvary Mater in diverse clinical settings including, Palliative Care, General Medicine and Medical Oncology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient progress and revise nursing interventions where required.
  • Plan appropriate care in consultation with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Prioritise and implement planned care to achieve expected outcomes of established priorities.
  • Complete accurate documentation of nursing care and communicate patient progress to other team members.

What you bring:

  • Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
  • Commitment to own personal and professional development.
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity.
