GP/Consultant/Specialist

  • The major trauma centre for northern Queensland and all medical and surgical specialties are represented. It provides healthcare across the entire North Queensland region, with patients from as far as Mount Isa and Cape York being airlifted or transp
  • Accommodation and hire car to be booked. Return domestic flights (best fare of the day) will be booked
  • Pending approval of higher rate to candidates who commit to the continuous period of the contract or a minimum of three months

SHIFTS:

08.04.2024 – 28.06.2024
Weekdays 0800 – 1630
No On-call

This is a community-based position working with an experienced MDT, providing clinical governance and leadership to an adult population, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers. Each consultant is allocated a full-time registrar. Our service has an excellent embedded teaching program which supports RANZCP Consultant CPD requirements, including weekly Peer Review, Case Conference and Journal Clubs.
