About the role..

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and passionateOccupational Therapistto join our dedicated Royal Rehab Ryde team. You will be providing high quality, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services to clients in units across Royal Rehab when unit specific Occupational Therapists are on leave.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide assessments, treatments and written therapy programs, equipment scripts and home modification reports for clients of Royal Rehab. 

  • Complying with Occupational Therapy Service specific policies/procedures and initiatives.

  • Work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that the client receives an integrated service that meets their needs.  

  • Attendance and participation at case conferences, goal setting meetings, family conferences.  

  • Support/participate in clinical research conducted by colleagues and other Occupational Therapists conducting multi-centred projects. 

About you..

We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:

  • Current full registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.

  • Current C unrestricted driver’s license with access to own vehicle.

  • Well-developed communication and clinical skills to work in a supportive, team-based environment.

  • A strong passion for providing high quality services to our patients and poses exceptional interpersonal skills. 

  • Experience in working with a variety of specialty areas within a rehabilitation framework.

  • Excellent time management, handover and self-organisational skills.
