The Principal Investigator (Early Phase) provides medical, scientific, and strategic leadership to the organisation through the identification, selection, and execution of suitable clinical trials, focusing on first-in-human and early-phase trials. Acts as Principal Investigator on studies, assuming ultimate responsibility for the safety, wellbeing, and rights of trial participants

Acts as Principal Investigator on studies, assuming ultimate responsibility for the safety, wellbeing, and rights of trial participants

• Eligible for New Zealand medical practitioner registration with a current practicing certificate and professional indemnity cover. 


• Must have substantial postgraduate experience, plus a suitable postgraduate qualification, in conducting first-in-human clinical trials; for example, one of the qualifications listed in the ABPI Guidelines for Phase 1 Clinical trials, 2018 edition. 


• Thorough understanding of Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH/GCP), and regulatory requirements. 


• At least 5 years experience at a clinical research site, with experience as a Principal Investigator in first human clinical trials. 


• Proven leadership/management experience.

• 270K NZD and 350K NZD Based Upon Experience
