Where you'll be workingWestern Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
Essential Requirements:
- Registration: Registered Nurse( Division 1) with current AHPRA registration.
Selection Criteria:
- Previous nursing management/education experience, with tertiary post graduate qualification in Adult Education/Mental Health or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to implement health education and training strategies with understanding of Ministry of Health guidelines in relation to health, education and training issues and priorities.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of education and learning programs for a range of delivery modes (i.e. face to face, online and self-paced) to meet identified organisational need at strategic and operational levels.
- High level consultation, facilitation, and presentation skills, with an ability to communicate effectively and build effective relationships across all management and staff levels.
- Demonstrated experience in staff management, performance and managing competing demands.
- Proficient use of computer literacy that support the role.
