About the Role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered nurse to join the team at Dandenong Specialists Consulting Clinics working Monday to Friday in a Fixed Term part-time position. (.4 EFT)

We provide a collaborative approach to patient care engaging with multidisciplinary teams including variousMedical and Surgical specialties, Allied Health and Diagnostic Imaging.

As an RN working in the outpatient department, you will be supported along your journey by both the Leadership, Nursing and Administration teams.

You will be given opportunities to participate in education sessions, upskilling to apply and remove plaster casts and develop skills in both simple and complex wound care management.

Dandenong Specialist Consulting Clinicis a busy service specialising in the provision of outpatient care across many specialties including Orthopaedics, Plastics, Colorectal, Gynaecology, General Surgery, Infectious diseases, Paediatrics, Oral facial and maxillary, general medicine, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology and Renal Failure

About You:

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

  • Recent RN experience in orthopaedics, plastic surgery and plasteringmanagement would be desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about providing a high standard of care to our patients.
  • Previous experience working in Specialist Consulting Clinics would be desirable but not essential.

What you need:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and to upholding the Monash Health iCare values.
