About the role
An exciting opportunity is available for occupational therapists with clinical experience inacuteor subacute care to join ourEastern Health OccupationalTherapyteam.This positionwill provide an interesting and varied caseload, providing leave cover to our OTson either ouracuteor subacute wards.This position involves the provision of direct clinical care, complex decision making and efficient discharge planning to enhance patient outcomes and flow. The successful applicant willbe involved in supervising students, quality improvement initiativesand working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care. The position is well supported by the grade 3 and grade 4 clinical lead occupational therapists.
About you
To be successful in this role you willpossess:
- AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated clinical experience working withacute or subacute patients
- Demonstratedcapacityin managing complex discharge planning
- Experience in supervision of staff and/orstudents
- Demonstratedcapacityto show leadership in a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication andorganisationalskills
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- Strong commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
- Commitment to own continual professional development
