: Health Education Officer Graduate
Selection Criteria to be addressed:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health promotion, population/public health, education, community development, communication, marketing, childcare and allied health discipline (e.g. exercise physiologist, physiotherapist and dietician) or other relevant field/areas.
- Proven experience working in the NSW Healthy Children's Initiative, including, Munch and Move, Live Life Well and/or Go4Fun or similar programs targeting healthy eating and physical activity to reduce childhood obesity in the early years and school years settings.
- High level project management skills including demonstrated ability to plan, implement, evaluate and disseminate a population health project and report on project outcomes.
- Sound organisational and computer skills, and the capacity to successfully manage several tasks concurrently to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a cross-cultural context, and the ability to work with and engage young people and their families and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal direction and as part of a team.
