Occupational Therapist

Rehab@Home Logan are looking for Senior Occupational Therapist to join their team. This role focuses on providing senior Occupational Therapy services within the Rehab@Home program, involving delivering high-quality clinical care in community or residential settings as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities also include advancing Occupational Therapy services through service development, quality improvement, supervision of less experienced clinicians, students, and Allied Health Assistants, and monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes. About the Role

  • Manage community-based Occupational Therapy workload, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation within established protocols, policies, and evidence-based practice.
  • Act as a clinical reference point, collaborate on evidence-based practices, and undertake care coordination responsibilities within the Rehab@Home service.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Demonstrate leadership through education, supervision, and initiative in service improvement and research activities, contributing to the development of clinical practice and protocols.
