GP/Consultant/Specialist

Logan Hospital is the tertiary paediatric and obstetric service of Metro South Health. The Department of Anaesthesia is looking for several Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time anaesthetist to join our wonderful team in January 2025 (earlier commencement dates can also be accommodated).


About the Role:

Fantastic opportunities exist for talented and passionate Staff Specialists or Senior Staff Specialists - Anaesthetics to bring their unique abilities and experiences to our healthcare team at Logan Hospital. 

Logan Hospital is currently undergoing significant maternity, paediatric, medical & surgical services expansions which will aim to increase our scope of practice to include a larger variety of complex case mix in the following areas:

  • Paediatric anaesthesia
  • Obstetrics
  • ENT
  • Maxillofacial
  • Upper GI
  • Urology
  • Gynaecology
  • Vascular
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Interventional Cardiology
  • And many more sub specialities

Therefore, Logan Hospital Anaesthesia department are looking for exceptional anaesthetists who may have a special interest in the following areas:

  • Regional anaesthesia
  • Obstetric anaesthesia
  • Paediatric anaesthesia
  • Complex airway management
  • Simulation and training
  • Medical Education
  • Clinical Informatics & Data Analytics
  • Research
  • Clinical Governance & QI/QA
