Registrar (PGY 4-5)

The Position

We are looking for multiple full-time Oncology Registrars for a fixed-term contract commencing 5 August 2024 to 3 February 2025, with possibility for extension. The Registrar is responsible for the day to day management of public inpatients and outpatients within the Hospital and provides on call cover for the Medical Oncology unit as well as infrequent after-hours emergency cover at the hospital.

Essential Criteria

  • General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia. 

  • Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements).


The Package

  • Salary of $131,000 - $183,500 per annum dependent on experience

  • Generous A/L plus Leave Loading 

  • Continuing Professional Development leave & allowance 

  • Visa Sponsorship and support for IMG's and families 

  • Relocation Assistance
