How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:

  • Current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with postgraduate qualifications in the speciality of Child & Family Health.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with families utilising evidence-based models of care and approaches that are supportive and inclusive with an early intervention focus.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in planning, coordinating and evaluating education programs.
  • Current immunisation accreditation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to work and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait, Islander patients and families and employees to enhance health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
  • Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
  • Demonstrated intermediate computer skills, effective interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team and a capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
  • Current c-Class licence and willingness to travel to communities in rural and remote locations.
