About your new job:
Are you our next casual Assistant in Nursing to join our team at Armidale Hospital, offering flexibility within our casual pool. This role will involve dynamic work across various units, including medical, surgical, and emergency departments.

Located in the picturesque university town of Armidale, nestled in the stunning New England High Country, this opportunity promises a blend of professional growth and scenic beauty. As a valued member of our team, you'll rotate through different units at Armidale Rural Referral Hospital, enriching your experience and skills within our casual pool. You will receive comprehensive orientation, including both virtual and in-person sessions, ensuring you're well-equipped for success. Plus, you'll have the support of a clinical nurse educator and access to ongoing professional development opportunities, empowering you to thrive in your role.

  • You hold a certificate III Assistant in Nursing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year).
  • You hold an understanding of evidence informed practise and critical thinking.
  • Good time management skills.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team and have a focus developing key relationships in a multidisciplinary team

  • To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. This is a Category A position.
