Selection Criteria

1. Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and demonstrated ability to actively contribute to the development of clinical practice.
2. Relevant post-registration qualification and at least 3 years’ experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate.
3. Demonstrated excellent verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
4. Demonstrated high level written communications skills, including computer skills.
5. Proven ability to utilise advanced critical thinking and risk management approaches, with extensive clinical experience in nursing.
6. Demonstrated ability to provide clinical case management co-ordination or skills which would enable exceptional patient case co-ordination.
7. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, within a multidisciplinary team and be able to prioritise and manage a caseload.
8. Demonstrated clinical leadership skills.
