Gain tertiary level experience in a variety of anaesthesia services across a wide range of disciplines in addition to subspeciality area.

About the role

A limited number of positions exist for Provisional Fellows who are interesting in pursuing a split PF training year across two Metro North HHS facilities to access further experience and training that isn't available at RBWH. These positions consist of six months training at RBWH and six months training at another MNHHS facility.

Co-located with RBWH, the Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS) is a high-volume, multi-specialty, surgical centre that offers trainees the opportunity to experience a high number of regional anaesthesia cases for ophthalmological surgeries.

Redcliffe Hospital is a district general hospital located in Brisbane's northern suburbs and offers the opportunity for a trainee to also experience paediatric anaesthesia while working as a generalist PF in a busy anaesthesia department.
