Occupational Therapist

In-reach Rehabilitation Team are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their team. Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre, providing care in all major adult specialties to patients throughout Queensland and Australia, except for obstetrics. We are one of Australia’s leading academic and research health centres, providing Clinical Service Capability Framework (CSCF) Level 6 services, with approximately 1,033 beds and bed alternatives.

About the Role

  • Liaise and work effectively in a professional manner with clients and their carers and family, other health professionals from different disciplines, students and external agencies to achieve a client centred approach, utilising negotiation and conflict resolution skills as required.
  • Utilise high level communication and interpersonal skills to achieve optimal patient and service delivery outcomes, in addition to engaging consumers in care delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the In-reach Rehabilitation Team and Occupational Therapy department.
  • Represent the Occupational Therapy Department on relevant committees or team projects as they arise or as delegated.
