About the role

  • Deliver clinical care under supervision and acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfy relevant specialist college and medical board requirements needed to obtain specialist registration. To assist with the training of registrars as well as undergraduate and post-graduate teaching. Involvement in research is essential. This position will cover the public Outpatient Department and theatre time and assist with our huge demand for ophthalmic care within the catchment area for the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. This role will also be responsible for carrying out audits and other quality assurance/improvement activities as required for the department of Ophthalmology.
