An Eastern QLD hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Intensive Care Medicine from 22/07/2024 to 08/08/2024.

· START: Monday 22 July 2024 (0800)
· FINISH: Thursday 8 August 2024 (0800)

ICU / ED / anaesthetic registrars preferred. Post-primary advantageous. Previous ICU experience preferred but not essential.

Role will include – Assessment and management of ICU inpatients. Procedures including arterial and central access, ventilator trouble shooting. Assessment of referrals to ICU. Transport of patients for imaging / interventions. MET team membership. Supervision of RMOs. Liaison with on-call intensivist.
