Nurse Unit Manager Needed in South West Victoria - Aged Care!

Commencement date: 03/02/2025 for 6-8 weeks

• Full time hours : 80 hours per fortnight
• Monday – Friday – No weekends
• Senior Registered Nurse with Aged Care experience , leadership and management
• 28 beds

The Position

• Clinical knowledge, skills and leadership experience in Residential Aged Care 
• Demonstrated understanding of Aged Care Standards and Accreditation requirements 
• Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) and strong financial management skills 
• A level of nursing skills which is easily identified as a role model of clinical competence 
• Demonstrated understanding of the needs, issues and sensitivities of people from diverse backgrounds 
• Demonstrated team leadership ability and ability to support staff through internal and external change 
• Ability to demonstrate an evidence-based approach to person centred care 
• Demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development, including use and deployment of communication applications and technology

Essential Criteria

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
• Current NDIS screening
• Current evidence of immunisation history and / or serology results
