A Metropolitan NSW hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Palliative Care Medicine from 02/04/2025 to 24/06/2025.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Various dates to be covered between 02/04 - 24/06.
Dates are: 02/04/2025-07/04/2025, 10/04/2025-22/04/2025 & 27/05/2025-24/06/2025

Role:
1. Accept referrals from other teams and triage them accordingly
2. Review the patient promptly and discuss management plan with specialist for the day
3. Escalate concerns accordingly to specialist
4. Participate in weekly MDT
5. Daily morning hand over and attend consultants rounds
6. Liaise with medical team at PCU and organise transfers to Camden PCU after liaising with specialist at CTN hospital
7. Awareness of opioids and EOL medications
8. Organise PEACH where required
