What you'll be doing
The RAC Physiotherapist Level 3 is responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services within the RAC Service, applying advanced clinical skills and working autonomously to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role also involves contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Providing expert assessment, treatment, and management of complex cases.
  • Working independently while directing patient and carer education in the RAC Clinic.
  • Collaborating with management to improve service planning and safety.
  • Leading quality improvement initiatives within the RAC Service.
  • Ensuring adherence to high standards of clinical practice and patient care.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualification:AHPRA recognised Physiotherapy qualification
  • Registration: Current AHPRA Physiotherapy registration

Selection Criteria:

  1. Level 3 tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA Physiotherapy registration and extensive post graduate clinical experience in Respiratory physiotherapy.
  2. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills. Possesses significant communication skill to be able to interact with any member of the multidisciplinary team, clients, and carers to facilitate effective clinical care, clinical service and clinical supervision as supported by the RAC Clinical Coordinator/CNC.
  3. Demonstrated high level of knowledge and experience in Physiotherapy service delivery across all facets of the acute hospital and outpatient settings.
  4. Proven ability to provide high level clinical advice and education to guide and support others in providing service excellence for patients with Respiratory disfunction, to enhance service delivery.
  5. Demonstrated ability to provide advice to service managers on clinical service delivery, clinical practice, and clinical redesign.
  6. Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.
  7. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning.
