Skilled Medical is seeking an experienced medical recruitment consultant with a proven track record in health and medical recruitment to join our team in Melbourne.
We perform mission critical work helping to ensure that communities that need a doctor always have one available.
You will work in one of our dedicated teams placing doctors in locum, contract roles and permanent across Australia.
Candidates must be highly professional, be able to communicate effectively with medical professionals and client health services, build relationships and provide them with outstanding levels of service.
The role offers excellent prospects for career progression in Skilled Medical. In this role you can inspire and lead other staff, develop business growth opportunities and manage key accounts.
Applicants should preferably have two or more years of experience in medical, nursing or allied health recruitment. Suitable senior candidates with skills and experience in sales and/or account management in the health care industry are encouraged to apply. Applicants with at least one year work experience in customer service and/or admin role or in the healthcare industry who wish to join medical recruitment are also welcome to apply. We will provide training, support and the system know-how you will need.
You will build up and look after a pool of medical professionals working in short and long term locum roles and/or undertake permanent placements across Australia. You must be proactive, have excellent interpersonal skills, be well organised and have attention to detail. You will have leadership and mentoring skills and the ability to support other staff in their roles.
