  • Employment Casual - (for 12 months)

The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Allied Health Team as a PaediatricPhysiotherapistin aCasualcapacity. Much of the service provision in this role will occur on weekends and public holidays. There will also be opportunities for casual work on weekdays.

About the Role

The Paediatric Physiotherapistappropriately assesses, treats, educates and promotes health services to neonates, children, adolescents and their families, which minimises the effects of the presenting disease or disability and maximises functional capacity. This position is a part of the Physiotherapy Department casual staff system and may work across all areas of the health service.

You should have an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles you to registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).

To be successful in this role you will have well-developed clinical skills in the physiotherapy management of paediatric patients or transferrable clinical skills in one or more of the following areas – orthopaedic, neurodevelopmental, or respiratory physiotherapy.

If you thrive when working with a multi-disciplinary team including administrators, allied health professionals, paediatric coordinators, and other stakeholders on service delivery development, then this role is for you.
