• Registered Nurse with AHPRA (Australian Health Professionals Regulation Authority) and at least 5 years full time equivalent post graduate experience. Post graduate qualifications in the specialty field (Sexual Health, HIV and Blood Borne Virus) or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise, leadership and service development (sexual Health, HIV and Blood Borne Viruses) through the utilisation of evidence based practice
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and contribute positively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to personal and professional development, lead quality improvement activities, participate in research and a demonstrated ability to implement change
• Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise competing work requirements across a variety of settings
• Demonstrated high level computer skills, written and verbal communication with the ability to develop and deliver education and resources to clients or internal and external partners.
• Demonstrated experience in policy procedure and guideline development.
• Current licence to drive in NSW with willingness and ability to drive throughout the Far West LHD and stay overnight as required occasionally for work purposes
